Use this featherweight white batting to give your handmade garments and accessories a soft structure that helps them withstand regular use. This polyester batting doesn't require preshrinking, and it fuses easily so you can prepare your fabrics quickly and get right to sewing. This interfacing works with woven or fabric knit fabrics to give you lots of options for your next project.  

• No preshrinking required
• Use for challis, chambray, jersey, broadcloth and linen
• Materials: 90-percent polyester, 10-percent rayon
• Color options: White, charcoal
• Dimensions: 20 inches wide, 10 yard bolt

General directions

• Cut interfacing following pattern pieces
• Trim 1/2-inch from seam allowances
• Interfacing is pre-shrunk and ready to sew
• Place coated side of interfacing on wrong side of fabric
• Cover with a damp press cloth
• Set iron at medium steam
• To fuse, hold iron down firmly for 10-15 seconds
• Lift and overlap slightly
• Repeat fusing, moving iron in one direction across interfacing
• Do not slide iron
• Iron fabric on right side to remove any excess moisture
• As with all fusibles, it is a good idea to pre-test this interfacing on a scrap of fabric before fusing it to your garment

Care instructions

• Machine warm wash, delicate cycle
• Use only non-chlorine bleach
• Tumble dry low
• Use warm iron if necessary
• May be dry cleaned
• Washable, dry cleanable
• Machine wash warm, machine dry low
• Iron medium perma-press

Fusing is not recommended for triacetate, lace, seersucker or rainwear. 

Always pre-test on a scrap of fabric.
